@@bensonq I wasn't really in a group but I was part of my school's team for three years. Most of the members were apart of Vanguard but I moved for college and stuff

Tell your mom they all got arrested in the 90s. Lion Dancing is family friendly now! Stabbing incidents have decreased dramatically!

My sister and little brother used to go to a Buddhist school in our county. This made me all nostalgic for when we would attend their honoring elders day celebration and other occasions. The kids were amazing performers and the food was delicious.

We had a sequence where I did teach them the instruments but wasn't able to fit it into the final edit :/

i use to do lion dance back in high school, did it for 4 years, and i was cringing a long, but at the same time, the swap is a pretty advance move, i didnt learn it until my second year doing it, so prop to you guys. I had to learn jumps first, and those were the day when i couldn't feel my legs, after jumping like nearly 500 times in just one day of practice, not just any jumps, but max out jumps, from all the way down in a squad to like 5 feet into the air. i had legs of steal tho, so that was fun. haha.

Hi Wongfu! Long time fan and usually never post comments, but today will be the first! I thought it was great timing this video was posted (obv bc of LNY) but also because I volunteered to be a lion head at my Chinese school's celebration this weekend... I have no experience and have no idea what I'm doing. This video was funny and informative. Will definitely be using Benson's routine! Thanks for the awesome lesson :D
