1:23 Fun Fact: Joe was originally named "Cujo" by his original owner. And he attacked cesar three times! And now he is a therapy dog that helps other dogs. So amazing. Just shows how Cesar is so good at what he does.

I remember Joe. He used to be called Cujo and was the spooky, bitey mastiff with an owner who loved him but was too ill to provide effective leadership. Wonderful to see him doing so well after so many years. And Holly, what a joy, what a change! It's a great thing to see Cesar keep his promise to keep a dog for life.

I dont think this is the same joe though, since he gave him back to his owner... plus he was only about 3-4 years old when he gave him back. Plus, the colors on the face are a bit different l. But it might be, who knows

@@patrickrichardson9183 Same dog. He's just old and lumpy now. He did get given back to his owner, but she gave him up again -- she suffers from chronic pain and he's a very sensitive dog who picks up on that pain.

Your attitude, the way you carry yourself, your emotions. If you are calm, your dog will be calm. If you act like you’re in charge, your dog will treat you like the boss. You also need to get your dog enough exercise and you need to train them and interact with them consistently. You also need to learn to read your dog’s energy and where they are emotionally. All of that takes time and energy, but anyone can do it.

@anders damin His techniques helped me raise two very sweet boys, one of whom was very willful and took a lot of time and energy to get him to settle down.

Holly did not used to be submissive. Holly used to be quite aggressive. Wow! What a transformation!

If i remember correctly holly had a food aggression tendency and the previous owners had a young child so Cesar advised for him 2 take care of her, they must be so proud of her watching her do so well!💕

Unfortunately, Holly passed away at some point last year (2020 if you're reading this in a few years from when I'm originally posting this comment). However, it was lovely to see that Cesar was able to give her the correction and the stability she obviously needed.

I can only listen to Cesar Millon. Every other dog trainer seem abusive to me. He's amazing with animals and gentle. It almost seems like magic the way dogs respond to him. Wish everybody could learn to treat animals the way Cesar does.

Richard Heinz "the Miami Dog Whisperer" is also amazing. He's one of the rare people like Cesar Millan who understands proper use of "punishment" (note the quote marks) without physically or mentally harming dogs. He's amazing at clicker training too!

Jose Fernandez Yup. That bite was entirely the fault of Cesar. He admitted this. It was because he looked away and moved his hand towards her, missing her warning signs. They resolved the issue though very quickly and holly is one happy dog. She gets to help Cesar rehabilitate even more dogs.

FilmMagician Yup. The family decided that they couldn’t risk their baby’s safety and Cesar agreed. Whenever he can, Cesar will keep dogs that are deemed unsafe to be in their original households. His massive psychology center provides the space needed for many dogs and they get constant attention and care.

Cesar is a wizard. I wish these clips were longer.

One of the most beautiful things to witness, is a dog suddenly performing according to their dna purpose. That applies to ties with older breeds

Cesar just knows. And his technique is practically flawless. I've seen results in real life.

@@fayHoran Cesar admitted he was the one mostly at fault. He was too focused on talking to the owners and not focused enough on the warning signs Holly gave him. He did a video on it but he took it down.

When I lived in the country a couple years back we had 3 dogs. A chihuahua, a medium mixed dog 🐕 that looked like the emoji almost and a lab and Rottweiler mix. The biggest dog was too excited to herd the sheep. The medium one was afraid so...you have my chihuahua. Running around. Barking. Doing better than ever •_• 😂❤️ I miss him so much ever since he passed away but yeah this reminded me of it 😛

they use leashes to monitor the dogs movements. it is very common when starting out and learning how to herd correctly.
