LEARNING CHINESE PROVINCES: PART THREE (Latest YouTube version)
Part three of this series presents the remaining eleven more provinces / administrative areas. Unlike the previous segments, these names are linked to history rather than geographic features.

Glad it was helpful!
Perfecto 👌 this is how everything should be taught
Magnificent trilogy of videos. Very educative. I wonder whether the names of Japanese provinces lend themselves to this type of videos. If so, please, Please do Japan.
Muy buen video, muchas gracias!
I wouldn't be surprised if the original name for Macau, in Portuguese, was actually "MAÇÃO", cause it'd sound a lot like Mazu.

Great job. Very well explained. A clever teacher makes clever pupils. (Sorry for my English). Even I am French I prefer listen to the Engliqh video. :) Thanks a lot. Could you do about towns? :))

Thank you for your kind comment. You are very dedicated to watch the English video, even though English is not your native language! You mention videos about "towns": I have started a series of videos about the capital cities of China's provinces. The first one is available on KZread (potentially with distracting advertisements) at: kzread.info/dash/bejne/e3iX2ZilodvPgco.html or on Vimeo ( without advertisements!) at: vimeo.com/482083019 Sometimes searching through sites like KZread and Vimeo can be overwhelming. The web site Pere-X.net can help you locate the videos (including the versions in English, Spanish, French, and Italian!). Also, did you notice the new "Footsteps" series? These are a bit less educational, and have less narration. They present nice photos of various areas. The series has started with a video about the southern part of Anhui province: kzread.info/dash/bejne/moODqMd9hL3IY9o.html or vimeo.com/481303510 That video does highlight two villages and a neighborhood in one city of Anhui province.

(At this point, the "Provincial Capitals" and "Footsteps" videos are only available in English.)
Did you miss out Yunnan?

Yunnan is included in Part Two. Starting shortly after 12:00 there is a description of "the cloudy peaks", which then leads to the explanation of Yunnan's name. (After introducing Qinghai Province, we had finished with all the province names that relate to bodies of water. At that point there is a segment that explains about the "water radical" that you see in all those names. Perhaps the effort to show the logic in written Chinese was too boring for you! In any case Yunnan and Anhui follow that segment!)
