Learning About My Seat On A Mechanical Horse
Фильм және анимация
We all want to be the best we can for our horses, so I choose to work off the horse to make sure I am as fit and string as I want my horses to be. Such an insightful session with, who Sarah is based in Hertfordshire and has availability to take on new clients. Have a look at her website www.meadowphysioandpilates.com
Hope you enjoyed the video

These mechanical horses can show us how forgiving our horses are and how they often compensate for our faults.
Oh my goodness I have only just found this that you attended. I attended a session in Doncaster last week and I am so glad I did this. My mare LuLu is only coming up five and I am so very focussed on doing the right thing for LuLu to give her the best chance, but I wanted to also have a look at how I ride. I have only ever had three riding lessons, two of them on LuLu, so I know that there is so much that I dont know and doing my session on Haarold confirmed it. I absolutely loved it and I am going back in a month to see if I have been able to work on the areas that needs work. ie my right side is so much stronger than my left and I had (like you Miri) very little impact with my left bum cheek LOL. It was actually really good to watch your session because it reminded me of a couple more things that I have to work on before my next session. Brilliant, like you I think more people should do this, as we put so much emphasis on how our horses move, but hey are we actually assisting them or are we actually making harder for them with their balance.
Not a horse rider but found this very interesting. Always enjoy your videos.
That was brilliant and we all should be made aware of the fact that our weight affects the horse so much. Maybe a lot of horse injuries are caused by bad riding . food for thought
this is so interesting - i've ridden this same mechanical horse! it's at my rda center!
Also undervalued: fitness. We need to be working out rigorously in order to maintain enough fitness to be able to ride correctly and not fall into bad habits that negatively affect our horses. If you are not going to the gym, you are probably not in great riding shape (unless you’re riding many many hours a day, but i don’t know any professionals who aren’t going to the gym).

I may have to start working with some video sponsors. I hope you would still watch if I do?
I had a session with one of these horses recently - so interesting to see what small changes can make to your posture.
Would be funny as heck to see one of these made for cutting horses.
I loved this! So interesting to see🙌🏻
Fascinating, looks like a lot of fun as well
So interesting. I've seen these horses used by eventers before but never for ground work. So good for improvement. And even for jumpers you still spend more time on the ground than jumping. Awareness is everything.
Take in to account that, it depends on the Horse and Rider, PERIOD>
This is so interesting, thank you for sharing!!!
Wow what an awesome bit of kit loved it x
I really enjoy your videos and I’m glad you’re back
What a brilliant thing to do! Going to see if something like this is avaliable in my area.
I went on one years ago, it was so beneficial.
So interesting! Thanks for sharing! ❤
I want to try something like this :D
Really interesting! I’ve known about them for ages but haven’t built up the courage (and money!) to go so it’s really interesting to see your experience
Fascinating. I would love to try this.
Really interesting!
Você parece com a percussionista Lucy Landmore. Sou do Brasil. O ruim é que o video não é em português.
So cool! I’d love to try that!
Looks really beneficial, I could do with a session for sure!😬
I'm a scared, anxious rider and I think learning to canter on the mechanical horse would be beneficial to me.
I would love to have a go at this, 😁x
I got to have a go of this.
Horse owners need to understand they have a mental health also! So many owners are so selfish and really don't understand?
Very interesting. Also, I think riding on a real horse is more difficult than it looks like 😮

Haha yes 😂
Id love to see how busted my seat is... HAHA!
analysis of, THAT, Rider. Depends on the situation, nice video otherwise. of facts for the rider.
Riding a lot of green young and unbalanced horses is the worst for rider biomechanics in my experience!
