Sir can U explain why we convert to device rating in mva in case of calculation

The reason why MVA ratings is used in power transformers is for different stages system can safely run for cooling purposes. The first stage is the transformer naturally air cooled, second is when the system turns on the fans and is forced air cooled. The 3rd stage is when the power transformer has forced air cooled and has pumps to pump oil thru the radiators and is air fans forced air to cool the power transformer. I hope that helps.

33kV is normal system voltage and 36kV is rated system voltage. We should always refer by rated system voltages.
