Wow, you are just what I need. I have my very best friends funeral next Monday & I was looking for something to play for him apart from Stairway to Heaven. I always promised I would play that for him if he passed away. Now I have 1 week to learn Tennessee Whiskey to accompany that. ThankYou. I’ll do it. I am so pleased I found your lesson. I saw your original post some time ago & saved it. Rediscovered it completely by accident while searching for another really cool tune.

Playing a couple of years now (mid covid crazy) and I keep coming back to this. Such a great lesson I don't think I'll ever pick up all the nuances, put now I'm starting to be able to play it. Still in awe of the mastery displayed and conveyed here. The attempt to impart this knowledge cannot be appreciated enough.

I have watched a Lott of different versions or techniques of playing this, because I want to Learn how to play it and I am 70 years old now. I got to say this is the most beautiful version/technique that I have seen so far, I only wish that I was able to loop each section so that I wouldn't have pause and go back constantly, I am watching from an iPad that is all I have.

Impress with the way that you can connect with your students without trying. Most people take courses, watch videos of other instructors, and still not connect the way that you naturally do. I teach martial arts and have had several students state that my way of teaching made them want to train even more. This is how I feel with your style of teaching. Thanks for bringing out the musical version of me.

I really love the way you teach and the way you put your own personality into playing and teaching oh and your beautiful smile doesn't hurt either. I haven't played in over 50 years, I gave away my 12 string echo to a friend who has a band called eagleyes they play tribute to the eagles if closed your and listen to them you would swear it was the eagles they are that good they also play a lot of other stuff to. The eagles actually gave them compliments anyway he gave me back my guitar cause I wanted to start playing again and after watching you that gave me more inspiration to try again. I watched some of your other stuff as well thank you for that.

That’s because it’s the same song that they ripped off Etta James with countrified whiskey lyrics. 3 chords basically. No credit given, but a band that I’m friends with does a mashup of the 2 songs while performing.

Amazing lesson thanks. I've been working through it for a few days now. So much fun, and I learned heaps. There's a couple of things I'm not on top of though... The main thing is understanding the overall chord sequence in each section (I get a bit disoriented trying to put it all together). The other thing is just the ending. Can probably work it out though. Thanks heaps
