Mute City is a mostly straightforward track, but watch out for the shroomless shortcut cause boy oh boy is it a tricky one

You got me into Time Trials, mate. I didn't see the beauty in them until I started watching your vids. Now not a single day passes by without me at least doing a couple of runs at a course and coming back to your vids for experimenting with the strats you share. A big thank you from far far away! Keep up the bayesic content!

Love to hear it!
Thanks I struggled in the time trial until I watched this video thanks!
I was just gonna request this one lol
Thank you for the tutorial! This is my 1st course on 150cc where I’m now less than 5 seconds away from the current record!
Hands down my favourite track in the game. I remember watching the world record and wondering how they did the shroomless cut, so I'm very grateful you explained it here! Thank you :)
For players playing after wave 4 the optimal build is Luigi/Kamek/Iggy | Mach 8 | Leaf Tires | Cloud/Paper/Flower/Parachute Gliders
funny coincidence for me, this is the track I've been time trialing this week. That nisc is very hard but so satisfying when done. I found to be easier to perform the nisc if you build the miniturbo as if you were aiming to hit the right wall. I had kind of the same experience as you: I got 1'56 on tuesday, but since then I've been having a real hard time repeating it. Already heard a few good tips on your video to help out so.. thanks a lot Bayesic. Those hours you take from your free time to make this videos are gold to me
I love this track so much. Great video!
Wow thanks ! I've been wanting to play Mute City like a pro and i can now do it ! TY
Thansk again for a great tutorial! Got mute city Time trials after 20 times instead of 100.
Bayesic I needed this, Mute City is difficult, thank you
Thank you Bayesic Wow. Cool 😎
Bayesic thank you so so much for this this helped me go from a 1:55.4 taking the shortcut with a shroom to a 1:53.8 which I am incredibly happy with and I’m rlly proud of it now I can do the Nisc consistent with mach 8

So i realized i havent done wario stadium and I can not beat the staff ghost
I’d love to hear more about this “fast NISC.” Is it a topic that might be worth it’s own video?

Not really worth tbh. It's basically do a right hop instead of a neutral hop, and then like take your joystick from 3 o clock to 6 o clock. It'll make you land like at the back edge of the ramp instead of at the front of the ramp like I do
cut my best by a second and a half, although i can't say i'm surprised anymore lol
Can you please do 150cc Super Bell Subway next? I've been grinding that track and need some tips for the shortcuts.

What’s your pb
So apparently there's also a way to do the shroomless cut with a slower character by charging a super mini turbo instead... Do you happen to know anything about that? Because I'm having hell of a hard time getting that one right, as opposed to the one shown in the video...
-should have done this in asmr because mute city-
I really enjoy your videos, but I get confused by your terminology of 'up' and 'down' on the joystick 1:13 . From my pilot training, pushing forward on the joystick (away from you) = going down, pulling back = going up. So I continually have to reverse my imaging of the actions. Could you consider changing terminology to 'pushing forward' and 'pulling back'? Much more ergonomic!

No promises cause my up down terminology is also pretty ingrained haha but I'll try and keep that in mind!
Strategy for Shroom cut: pause at 2:32 Try to angle yourself in such a way that your cart is facing the 3rd rightmost square here.
