The second step from the lead is incorrect, when in an open position of the swing out. For proper momentum for the fellow, the first two steps from the lead should be step back, step back. Not, step back, step forward, (not a rock step)

Maybe for a heavy pull-in on 1,2 or a west coast swing style whip. If you're not learning a rockstep, you need to retrain.
