My grandma, who is 93 and grew up in the east mountains (Sandia area, town called Juan Tomas, and was telling me how she used to make bread. Very interesting. She's a bit older now and doesn't have access to traditional methods she once had so I thank you for the furthering knowledge!

i wish i listened to my mother and learned how to make bread. We've Hopis and like you we use bread for many things. i was always hesitant to learn, i was more into fixing stuff and remodeling. she always said I needed to learn. but i thought i had time to learn and i didn't. now i want to learn , just to say i can do it. thanks for demonstration , really enjoyed it. i have nieces that are SDs.

There are certain things we we're hesitant to learn. We regret now ... I'm the same way. My grandma said, learn how to do this! You'll survive on it. Little did she know, bread is restock in stores everyday. Oh grandma, I miss you. Thanks for demonstrating your delicious bread. When I get my car running I'll go for a ride to your part of the country. Stay safe my lovely people.
