I made a very brief overview to show you how easy it is to 3D print miniatures from Titan-Forge using the Anycubic Photon printer. Titan-Forge provided models for promotion in this video. You can get a stupid amount of their models for just $10 here: snip.ly/Titanforgepatreon Here's my list of 3d Printers and essential products to set up your own factory at home! ➡️ snip.ly/3dprintingessentials

My god the detail on that thing is insane!
my mouth is salivating for one of those printers :O man the detail is insane for a affordable home printer
I want a 3D printer so much
Get a rubber mat and put the printer on it. It helps absorb vibrations to prevent the print from having layer shifts. Download filevalidator to help find islands on your model. For easy support removal after you put the model in alcohol dip it in hot water. The supports will just slide off like spaghetti. By doing that it will also reduce scars on the model. Also you can put ballpoint on the supports to avoid even more scars on the model.
could you post the programs you use for 3D printing. i just got an elegoo and looking to print
Super easy

Nice video but you skipped the bit I was most curious about, Photon Workshop
If you can’t get IPA 91% you can use Mean Green with the pickle jar’s but not with the Anycubic curing station. The curing station makes a vortex and make suds and foam with using mean green, I should know it’s happened lol.

Oh, nice thanks for the tip!
Its a good video. I think as time goes on, this will be cheaper and cheaper. What i dont understand is why GW is pushing skirmish games. This method is not price or time effective if you have to print a 200 model army with a few tanks thrown in there. 10 to 15 models warband at a time thou, that is very very viable.
@voxthesergal
4 жыл бұрын
The counter argument to that is the fact that the ONLY thing that increases print time is model height. A guardsman is what, barely an inch and a half at most? You could fill the print bed with a ton of them at a time and print an entire squad per print, which MIGHT be 3-4 hours per cycle. It costs you maybe 50 cents per cycle versus the 30+ for a 10 man. I'm sorry, but there's absolutely no competition anymore. The ONLY thing keeping GW in traction is that their model quality is still insane and that you can't participate in Tourneys (local or otherwise) using 'proxy' models.
@xxapoloxx

@@voxthesergal I think the 3 things that GW in the game are: 1- The lore, 2- The model Material (hard plastic is still far superior than the alternatives), 3- The model design (to a much lesser degree).

Talk about two faced. You not long ago did real damage to the 3d printing community by telling everyone it was bad for the gaming hobby and now you want to cash in on it.

@@elio225 While I apprecate you presenting this here, I happened to notice that this content seems to be dated back to October of 2019, and seems to be taken from non-public sources like discord and/or Facebook messenger perhaps? I have to ask, why not contact us about this back in October so we could look into it properly, instead of waiting to throw shade at us on an unrelated video? Also, I have to ask, has anyone spoken with Legio Models about this, and if so what was their response?
@spikeybitstv
4 жыл бұрын
@@elio225 Also to be clear we don't care what anyone prints with anything. If you want to print 40k proxies go for it. If you want to use them in a tournament unpainted neon green, then not only is that a "no" from us, and its also a no from the ITC as well. Many have suggested that rampant printing of proxies for Warhammer could have a very negative impact on the hobby from loss of sales, or even in some extremes, store closures. Once again the point of our editorials is to suggest that if manufacturers offered downloadable files for their models that customers would actually buy them instead of "pirating" them. It's very similar to what the music industry did 20 odd years ago. If you don't like that opinion, hey that's cool too :)

If you mean addressing copies of models that were being posted for download before the manufacturer's model was even released, or showing how some players think it's socially acceptable to play with unpainted freshly printed models at tournaments, then yes we did bring that up. Does that make us two-faced for producing content that promotes neither of these things?
Wasnt "3d printing ruining the hobby" according to you? Stop ruining my hobby - sincerely Nick

Nicholas Kirlis irresponsible 3d printing continues to be an issue for the hobby that is for sure. But anything sounds bad when you take it out of context with no reference doesn’t it? At the end of the day it may fall to manufacturers to keep it from destroying the hobby, by providing legitimate copies of files to purchase similar to how the music industry did so 20 odd years ago. 😊
