    Tremendous Andy, I'm hugely influenced by Larry Charlton and robben ford and this video had me salivating and with guitar in hand got right to getting my fingers round these mega tasty licks. Great instructional and easy to apply lesson. More please Andy.

    I think im in over my head!!Im loving and wanting to understand ,are you using a major pentatonic scale,where are the target notes and wich position of the scale are you using ??May be to advanced for me...damn!!I could copy and just learn it but i want to be able to apply it in other situations!! I love your lessons!!Thanks

    Hi - most of the basic licks are derived from the Major Pentatonic scale (F). I usually mix these with a bit of the Blues Scale. I hope this helps.

    I actually like the music you are playing more than Larry Carlton's because it sounds more pop and fluid. People keep saying this type of music is what Larry Carlton does - I just can't see/hear that. Are there other influences that you are incorporating inside. Need to get to the bottom of this as I love the music. Thanks.

    I suppose there is a bit of R&B influence in this track. That and simple pop music. Glad you like it. Check out Larry's playing with the Crusaders. You might like that
