I had been learning Despacito as a fun way to learn more Spanish, but hadn't picked up what the lyrics literally meant in English to actually understand what I was singing, so this video is very helpful. Thank you!

muestrame el camino que yo voy. --> una mejor traducción sería "Show me the way and I go there"/ o mejor "I´m going" , gramaticalmente hablando no sería literal, pero ese es el sentido de la letra.

Which accent is that? You say ll and ya differently
@ikeacha4153

Are you from Argentina or are your friends from Argentina? If so, it is a very noticeable distinction to pronounce your "ll" like "sh" instead of "y." Maqui(sh)aje. Maybe that's what you mean?

so that you rememver if you are not with me? wtf doest that mean? who writescthese lyrics? they make no sense
This is helpful. Unfortunately, the speaker's (or writer's) grasp of English grammatical terms is not good. She called the ARTICLE "the" a pronoun. She said an indirect object attached to a verb was a "suffix." Strangely, she translated "tengo" as "I've got to" -- this is unnecessily complicated. It should just be "I have." So "tengo que" should be "I have to" not "I've got to."
