I knew how to count from 1-100 in Spanish before I study the basic and common words, phrases and sentences in Spanish. This is because Filipinos count money in Spanish.

Well I'm a filipina and i can count more than 100 in spanish. You might not notice that if its 125 the seller says ciento venticinco and 175 ciento sesentay Cinco. Maybe you just didn't notice😂. They commonly use it in public market which we call palengke

@@k.5425 mainly three, filipino, english and spanish. We tend to use mix of filipino and english in our daily life and use spanish in mentioning time and prices of goods. And some words are borrowed from spanish so if you are a spanish listening to a filipino speak, you might pick some familiar words too.

Actually comsidering 11-19 in French and Spanish: Once, doce, trece, catorce, quince, dice-seis, dice-siete, dice-ocho and dice-nueve Onze, douze, treze, quatorze, quinze, seize, dix-sept, dix-huit and dix-neuf Yeah makes learning the other easier if you know the other too

@Kepler 186-F bc spain colonized philiphines for centuries so basically in philiphines the language they speak is a mix of tagalog,spanish and english

We also use that words here in the Philippines but a different spelling.

Hola, in my local area in the Phil. counting numbers and telling time, is still in use today. Actually, we have a lot of Spanish verbs and nouns that are still in existence. I'm surprised that I heared it here.

Fun Fact: Most Filipinos can count in spanish from 1-100 or more since our language is sort of influenced by the spaniards a long time ago. We have 3 major counting system. Tagalog, English and Spanish. (you can hear filipinos speaking in spanish's counting system when you go to the market.) like: : "Magkano ito?" (how much is this?) : 'Nobenta' isang plastik (90 per bag). But majority of us still uses our own counting system so yah hehe.
