    A lot of differences. Barbadian sound african, Jamaican sound Irish

    Thank you🙏❤️...I'm so glad to hear that. I found a new appreciation for the language itself, while creating the videos. I took it for granted growing up, always being encouraged to "speak proper english" in school. There are so many layers of Jamaican Patois that I haven't even touched on, as there are so many variations. With my own kids in mind, I thought it was important to share at least some of it.

    Yes.. the official language of Jamaica is English, but we also speak Jamaican Patois, which is a variation of English mixed with other influences.
