To alter. Important and quite commonly used. Evolve - like evolution. Easy. Overhaul also useful. Something like to scrutinise.

From my point of view, my city had not an evolution. It just modified from an European air to a modern city (the city of Rio de Janeiro had an European cultural air and lifestyle since the 19th century), even though my city has not evolved like Dublin. I reckon it's time to change it. :)
