Sugaring is a form of hair removal that dates back to ancient Egypt. The hair is extracted with a sugar paste (hence the name) that consists of just sugar, lemon, and water. Unlike waxing, the esthetician applies the sugar against the natural direction of the hair growth and then uses a gentle flicking motion to remove the paste, and the hair. It is often found to be more gentle, less irritating, and longer lasting than waxing.

is this the soft, medium or firm consistency of the sugaring paste available in the shop that you're demonstrating in the video? could you do a video comparing the three so that i know what they are before buying them?

This is the medium paste. We suggest starting with the firm paste. If you are new to sugaring, the firm past is much easier to control and flick. As you advance you can begin mixing in medium and eventually make your way to soft sugar paste. Softer paste is typically less painful but more difficult to master.

What do I do when the firm paste gets so runny and it will not come off my leg.
