I’m not hearing impaired or mute, but I think nonverbal communication like this will help me convey my emotions better when I’m overwhelmed, I’m a good or bad way. I’ve never gone completely nonverbal, but I’ve also never tried to go into a comfortable safe state like that, because I know to others it might seem like I’m overreacting. Trying this might make it easier for me to handle strong emotions

@@MA-ev3sn I get selective mute when I am overwelmed sometimes or when I am like not ready to use my voice. Which is why I started to learn some with the possibility to learn a few easy to use signs to maybe use with my parents. Like I could use them when I am frustrated and use the sign so I don't have to say I am frustrated but sign it so my mum knows I am. Also bc its cool to be able to talk/sign to my sister or someone eighter to the other side of the room or maybe in like family gatherings or bday parties. And ofcourse to make it easier on people who use sign day to day. Would be nice to be able to understand some of it and to show I care and possibly help someone out who may not speak (at times) Hope this may awnser your question or give you an idea

Woow. This was amazing. I was wondering, could you make a video of how to sign something like, "I know how you feel" or "I feel ya".

For this you would nod and sign "SAME".

I'm learning sign language right now, because I want to be able to talk to a hard at hearing girl who goes to my school. Wish me luck!

Trying a few of these with my almost 2 yr old son. He's not big on talking, so I'm trying to incorporate signs to him. Maybe it'll help?

ASL seems preety logic. If I had to communicate this way, I wouldn't use facial expressions.

I love this bec it shows step by step of signing. I wanted to learn ASL. "Beautuful Boy by John Lennon" is what im practicing; but its confusing. Theres a few videos doing it in utube so I guess diff way of hand gesture per word is broad? 🤔...And the way they were doing it is so fast 😢 ; it so frustrating...

I've been in customer service for years. Plus have a granddaughter that's learning sign language as she has CP. Any how, I've had customers I've help that are nonverbal and it's been a challenge to help them. Grateful for texting, but it would be great to learn to be able to do ASL for customer service and definitely for my grand daughter ❤️

Hello, I am a student from Asian and love your video a lot! Sorry for my poor English grammars first😥, I have a question want to ask. Is it ok if I exchange the signs of my right hand and my left hand? like, if I want to express "frustrated", is it OK to use my left hand to do the sign? or it need to only use my right hand to do it?

Wow! Welcome to our channel. Great question. You can actually used both hands for the sign frustrated to show you are really frustrated. In general you need to practice using your dominate hand. Here is a video that help! kzread.info/dash/bejne/aKtlvKaadZDdmMY.html
