    Love this card Sam. So glad you do share some tips & techniques now & then. Cause now & then I need them. Will have to try making one of these. I did get your box 10 from Papercarft Society, but the booklet is in CM and I do inches. I think you have a video showing how to go about making the slider cards. So I'll have to go and investigate and find it. Be safe, hugs and TYFS

    Wonderful cards and excellent techniques. On the mirror image technique if you cut out the penguin (or whatever image you’re using) out of plain white card, you can then flip it over with the image removed and use the plain card as a template to line up and ‘lock in’ your die into the right place instead of holding it up to the light. I hope you understand what I mean 😱😂

    How come the embossing powder around the sentiment didn't melt with the heat gun? When I emboss on card if you have a ting amount that you miss it melts and you can't remove it.

    I wonder, since you have the stamp on the door of your stamp platform, if you could just stamp on the back (ghost stamping) which will then allow your die to line up correctly. What do you think?

  • @MixedUpCraft

    @MixedUpCraft

    3 жыл бұрын

    The stamp isn’t a mirror image so you would still need to die cut from underneath, you can change the direction of the stamp but not the die. I hope I understood you correctly.

  • @lisazubak1016

    @lisazubak1016

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@MixedUpCraft No, what I was thinking is once you have positioned your stamp, and before you stamp on the mirror plate, you place your cardstock (same place you would put it if your are creating the mirror image and stamp the back. If I am thinking correctly, you should have the stamped image on the back of the card and then do the mirror image and they should line up exactly. Or close enough that you can then place your die on the stamped back image and it cuts out the mirror image on the other side. I hope I explained this better.

    The instructions on the package is not very clear and there isn't a listing of what parts are for what. It would be nice to have a more detailed instruction enclosed in case we do not have access to your video or blog to follow. Might be because I'm 70 and these package deals look fabulous when watching you, but when they arrive, I'm so confused as to what is what. LOL
