I love how the video tutorial for cleaning shrimp starts with an autobiography of the chef.

@@lilianaordonez5474 The other vein IS NOT shrimp poop. That's why.
Why don't you remove the vein on the underside of the shrimp?

All these supposed Professional Chefs including Gordon Ramsey over look it. Very unappetizing looking to me that's why I don't order Shrimp in any restaurants .. what's funny is I think they're all removing the Blood Vein and Leaving the Poop vein in. .. LOL. .. even more discusting Enjoy Shrimp at home you can enjoy it more knowing it is cleaned like it really should be PS CK out Gordon Ramsay .. how to clean Shrimp ..... I wanna tell him he doesn't do it properly to his Face .. preferably in front of an audience LOL

@@jaxone1259 Actually I am pretty sure I saw Gordon Ramsey chew out a contestant for nor removing the poop shoot (he was less kind). I JUST deveined shrimp myself for the first time, and going forward I won't be ordering it from a restaurant. Have a great evening JO!

gordon rammy is a hate monger, certainly no fish monger. with a glorified mcdonalds in vegas@@jaxone1259 .if he is so good ... he can find better things to do with his time than berate and belittle others...Such as devein both veins in shrimp!!!🤔
thanks u r the real deal
I learnt something new today. Keep posting such videos.
I used scissors in cutting the upper part of the shrimp. Then use toothpick to de vein it. 😊
Needed this
Thanks man, life savior !
So it takes 3 days to peel 5lbs
Thank you
THANK YOU 💙
What about the opposite side of vein...seems to be black gunk there too. Don't you have to clean that out too?
Perfect
what can u do with Asia carp??
Thanks

There’s a faster way - just twist head off, rip legs off, starting from the underside, peel shell off in one fell swoop up to the last joint before the tail. I like to keep the tail and last joint shell intact for presentation. Slice the back only deep enough to remove the vein. Comes out like a whole cord using fingers. Takes 5 seconds. Flush rinse all the shrimp under running water. Pat dry.
So can we eat this without frying or boiling it with this method??
Can I eat it raw with the method?
vein?
Cheers man For me cooking has become a matter of life or face starvation .
Where is the instruction on removing the excretal tract on the other side of the vein? Really there are 2 veins that both contain grit/sand.🤔
Itz not clean chef 😖 there is a second vein under the shrimp. 🤔
i am not gono buy book there is milion recipe on you tube.
Haha😂😂
If u don't have a Sharp knife the could be a worst thing to do in the kitchen
For such professional video the camera couldn't zoom in for better clarification. Waste of time

Using a knife takes real skill. Scissors are too easy.

mugensamurai you don’t need “skill” to clean a shrimp. This was to much and takes to long. I got family out in the keys who can clean 10x the amount of shrimp than this “chef”
