years of riding a ripstik have prepared me for carving, lol. i just ordered my first longboard, due to being inspired by your vids over the past few days. i have ridden my siblings skateboards over the years a little bit, and when i first rode a longboard with a friend, it was such a connection i felt, though only riding for that one day at a park. went down a kinda steep hill, and just loved it. im more experienced with ripstik, having gone down steep hills regularly commuting to and from school, but im more excited for this longboard to come in so i can learn some dancing and just cruising. i already know i enjoy riding longboard, so i might get one more for downhill fun, as i now live in hilly Washington state in the USA.

I just got my first longboard after having not skated for over 15 years. I didnt realize my new longboard is a drop through. Do you think ill be fine practicing tricks and freestyling? Or are drop down longboards better in that regards? Love your videos! Inspired me to learn longboarding!

Thank you Lotfi for the video! I have a question however, how to make sharp turns on a longboard? I found only videos regarding sharp turns on a small skateboard where they step on a tail of the board and lift the nose this way so that they could turn sharply. Does it work the same way on a longboard?

Salut Lotfi, je suis regular, j'ai plutôt tendance à mettre le pied avant coté droit et le pied arrière coté gauche, je me demande si c'est important ou pas ? j'essaierai de faire comme tu dis ici pour voir si c'est mieux, j'arrive à carver, mais il faut que je relance en poussant de temps en temps ... Merci pour ces vidéos qui sont encore utiles 😉

Yo je regarde ton bitume et je jubile, je suis québécois et je fait du downhill! Mais je dois faire de nuit sur des portion de route mal éclairer, ici lhiver est rud en plus donc route crevasser et jatein environ 60 km!tu voie le topo!Donc!je veux savoir ou tu est ou si tu connais le spot voyage de longboard parfait ?svp !en europe ça serais cool jadore les musées !
