LEARN GIMP IN 1 HOUR - Complete Beginners Photo Editing Guide
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
An even bigger walkthrough of GIMP for beginners that focuses on general photo editing techniques. Layers and editing photos in a non-destructive (can make or reverse changes later) is a big part of this guide but I try to cover all of the basics to some degree.

This is no joke the best GIMP 101 I have ever watched. Can't thank you enough. No nonsense and straight to the point with practical examples. I have wasted my time on so many other ones but this one is incredible. Thank again. I subbed, liked and will watch the rest of the videos (as well as keep referring to this one) Thanks again 😊
You sounds like a teacher my friend. Absolutely awesome! Good job.
I really appreciate these tutorials as I have moved from Windoze and PDN to Linux. I do a lot of image editing and it's been tough not knowing how to use GIMP or Inkscape. I sincerely thank you.
Thanks a lot for this. This was very much helpful.
Thank you. Really Thank you for your work
awesome work. just got gimp and this was a big help.
Thank you. Very helpful for a Gimp newbie.
Thank you - great overview for a newbie to GIMP :-)
Wonderful insight into GIMP. For a newbie, like myself, I learned a lot about GIMP. Thanks!
First look at GIMP for me. Great starter, thanks
Great, Keep it up!
Thanks for a really great tutorial.
Brilliant Explanations!
This video made allot of things clear.
How do you save the edited image like the laptop with the edited frog in jpg format to make a wallpaper, or to print on a t-shirt? Fast, but great tutorial. Thanks...
Thank you very much!💞👍
Thanks Chris!..
excellent. Thank you
Thanks!
I am completely new to GIMP and enjoyed the tutorial. I may be wrong but it seems like info on options to upload a photo first may have helped as it seems like the tools could only be tried in GIMP while watching the tutorial if there was a photo to work on?
Thanks tomorrow is my exam of this. It helps me alot.
Can't wait to watch.

1/2hr through. I like the very basic introductions to the layers and stuff. Good so far. Got just a wee bit perturbed when the Greek "alpha" is used when there are no beta, gamma, delta, etc. They shoulda just called it "master layer". Or maybe there's good reason for it... I dunno.
Awesome
Thanks
I am starting to design tee shirt images. What computer would you suggest that would give the best interaction with the GIMP PROGRAM?
Newbie using GIMP 2.10 on a Mac/Catalina: can't seem to make the burn/sharpen tool work - just have one layer. Dodge/burn works fine so it seems like burn/sharpen would work the same way. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
This guy need more subs...
Big thanks for that tutorial, you've earned a subscriber(sZZZ)!

how is your game going?
the way you move the Image is. you go to images. fit canvas to layers. hit move. and you can move the whole thing
As usual started out fine then boom! I get lost
anyone know what version this is?
The big problem with this photo editing soft ware is you can see what you are working on you only see file numbers and why can't I see what my pictures look like just numbers how can I open up all my picture files where I can see what I'm working with not just file numbers and if I try to open one of them I always get the wrong file number. Most photo editing software lets you see your pictures before you open them up to work on them. Is there any fix to this.
What about the Android version used with a Samsung tablet?
why do I not see all the tool options in the left hand column and all the other options in the right hand column? I haven't played around with any part of any menu and yey I don't see hardly any of the features shown in this video
💯
How are you dropping in other images?

I don't mean the color
To many assumptions in this tutorial. I know nothing, and Chris went very quickly and seemed to assume that you knew what he was talking about. It appeared there was no planning involved in the images he used or what he was going to do with them, so there was lot of jumping around. Sorry, but I did not find this helpful at all.
Dude, you sound like Kermit.
This is way too involved and too time consuming to for me. Appreciate the tutorial though.
Sorry, no direct support for DNG/RAW images. For $50 Affinity Photo has it.
poor editing :( remember to check your work
