Like that one - I struggled with the spins but Iliked the first pattern and am already working out how to use it in a piece Iam doing that is dedicated to a dancer Iknew whose style was very Gene Kelly.

Sorry to spoil what is claimed as "Gene Kelly's steps" with all due respects which I have for this great performer whose contribution to the world of dance and the musical comedy's cinema those steps were the basics of tap dance lessons common to all.

exactly! picking up various routines from GK and FA, they are indeed using basic steps, but the thing is the rhythmic placement!! all is there!
