Tony, I see SNOW!!!! I do indeed hope you have much more to help you restore the moisture lacking last year. HINT: fix the windmill, it's your good luck charm. Prayers for you and the family and for Colin, your ace in the hole!!!

We have changed a few of those seals on our 580 as well. We find that the road crown and high speeds wear them out prematurely. We have a versatile 610 delta track and so far we haven't had any issues. The versatile and case quads are the best in my opinion. Great video keep up the good work!

I know I have mentioned this on other KZread channels but I've been converting over to 00 synthetic hub grease, It's light grease that liquidizes as it warms up. I've been doing it for 2 years now and no problems yet

Good to know on the seals. Was funny to notice the bearing not in then the oops. Road speed does have a lot to do with the seals going out. When it is really hot out we tell our guys to slow down to about 15 mph. Of course that goes over like a lead balloon! The other thing is on the pavement there is no dirt to lubricate the tracks I think that doesn’t help also. Good video.

Hey Tony on that m11 with bad inj. If you had a bad wire to the inj. You would get a check eng. Light. With an eng. That has a miss and no light 99% of the time it will be an inj. Don't feel bad about putting the seal in before the bearing. I have worked on semi tractors for 20 yrs. I put a set of drive tires on and forgot the brake drum. That seal you put on that 580 make sure the inside metal that would seal to the spindle moves before installing the wheel. If you do truck wheel seal on the drives and trailer wheel seal torque them to 55ftlbs don't back them off. Put locking outs on and fill with oil. You will never have wheel seal problems agin.again. love your videos. I am from wis. Just over the river in lacrosse. I would love to hunt in Montana some year. Keep heads up and moving forward.

That was basically it.

It's hard to video snow. Was -20 on my farm in Fairview Mt last night. Was - 27 couple nights ago and supposed to be - 24 tonight. It's noon and -8. We have about 5 inches of snow and praying for 2 feet.

Take a lid off a coffee can and make a cover for your air intake on the passengers side. That way no deeebris gets in there (personal experience)

Is there a reason for the red Loctite? normally green for this application.

Can't believe you traded off the 5240. We traded ours off for a Maxxum 140 then bought another Farmall 140A to go with it.

Just an FYI, there is an updated Case seal design from what you have in that video. The sealing ring is better bonded to the rubber, and the rubber is bonded to an outer metal seal that is pressed/hammered in. Still expensive, but is a drastic improvement over the factory seal in this video.

More than likely be the rear engine damper causing your vibration. Changed one on our 600 with 3000hrs

Harmonic balancer on the quad. I think Larson farms had a similar issue with there 600 quad?

Common 2500-4000hr wear item. Especially if its the older style spring type. There is an updated damper that has been holding up better.

Did you make the trough to drain the bogie and idler wheel oils? Or is it something I can buy somewhere?

It’s always the last wrench, because why would you keep trying different ones when you found the correct one?

My quad track is getting a vibration dampener same hrs ! that dampener is expensive 2700$ just for the part.
