Its actually the creator that put ads on the video. Any ads you see on KZread videos are only put there by the creator of the video.

This is one of the worst things any parent can go through. I had to learn this as my 10 month old son just started eating solid food. I pray i never get to use it, but i'm prepared!

today my baby girl was so close to die..... i have managed to bring her back in under 45 seconds, right now i am terrified and scared as fuck and i try to learn everything about first help. guys and girls, please, do not live with the idea this won`t happen to you... i was exactly the same till now. LEARN those things and hope that you don`t ever need to use them because the feeling u get when u see your baby in such a condition cannot be written in words or expressed.

So true that is why I'm here. My little one was choking on some noodles he was eating. Thank GOD it didn't get serious but only lasted no more 7 secs. Stay alert and safe during these times. Peace/Be Bless!!!

Hello, great job.in choking scenario, if the victim loss his conscious, you have to take a look inside the mouth before blow the air.if you can see the object then remove it by your finger.

With a partially obstructed airway (coughing), instead of doing nothing it is often helpful to cough yourself... the baby will likely imitate you.

I straight insert my index into his mouth and get whatever is in there out. My burmese nanny taught me this trick. It worked 💯. She saved my son like that in 2sec when i was trying to tap and tap on his back. Since then I always make sure my nails are short and clean

As a parent this is your worst nightmare.

I remember my cousin's aunt lost her son due to choking . I wish nothin like this happens to someone's else.

You should never try to fish it out yourself with your finger....it can make the situation worse. Baby had a gag reflex for a reason and if they are coughing...they are still getting air. Coughing can dislodge the food.

Yup I agree, I don't believe in BLW too. Why give a child who doesn't know how to chew and some don't even have teeth to eat solid foods! Its like making a 6-7 month old stand on its own without any support. When the right time comes, the baby will learn to chew and eat solids just like he will learn how to stand and walk. But forcing them to do stuffs they are not supposed to do at that age is crazy.

My baby was choking on water she grabbed that was mine. Apparently it was too big for her to handle and couldn’t even breathe! Social media is all I focus on and I feel like you guys prayed for my baby and I thank god she got back to breathing when I only did blows to her back ❤️❤️❤️💝💝 I was so scared afterwards like what if I didn’t notice 😢 I have to be more cautious of what she grabs

Moving foreign object further, could move it into the right bronchi potentially, allowing at least some air into the left lung via the left non obstructed bronchi... it would be better to have some air into the lungs than no air at all.. hope that helps

They do not have good posture/neck control and are floppy. Wont be able to give effective back blows. Once it is a toddler/small child you would do the regular way.

So it means you have to push the two fingers right on the chest bone and now below the bone?

The video is very good but you didn't include pinching the baby's nose closed when delivering the rescue breaths, that is a very important step.

I do first aid. on a baby you blow though mouth and nose creating a seal. You don't pinch the nose.

Instead of pinching the nose, it is often easier to seal your lips around the baby's mouth & nose. Also want to be careful not to hyperextend baby's neck.

Nope if someone is choking u must help them ASAP. Taking one min to call EMS can be too late.. Technically for (unconscious infants and children) one should start by doing 5 cycles of cpr (1 cycle= 30 compressions to 2 breaths)× 5. Then go call. Of course if u have someone else there to help, they can do so.

*If someone is choking u must still call EMS after they: A) go unconscious; B) after the object is dislodged... but try to help them first while they are still conscious. These techniques are very effective.

Hi Jill, thanks for commenting. Abdominal thrusts on a choking-but-conscious adult can be performed from behind them while they are standing up. This is, however, not the case for an infant who cannot yet stand, and would be too small to stand behind and perform abdominal thrusts on. Further, abdominal thrusts uses force from both arms which would be excessive, and potentially dangerous, given the size of an infant.
