It's converts the proteins into Animo Acids. 2) Lipase : it's an enzyme which is secreted by the gland called Pancreas. It helps in the digestion ( break down) of emulsified fat and convert it into faty acids and glycerol. Qb Answer: The finger like projection in our small intestine are knowns as villi. Lipids are actually smaller fat molecules while lipase is the enzyme which converts fat molecules into fatty acids and glycerol. Similarly,proteins are complex molecules which is broken down into amino acids by trypsin
