    Yes and was vulnerable and that was so nice to see. I thought I’m the only one in wanting to be simple. Demonstrates how our world wants us to be cold and pretentious and then we can be accepted. But we’re all first emotional and warm.

    I love how she challenged each person in the audience (with a heart) to help one person, one organization, one situation. You don’t have to live a life of service but your life can be lived in such a way that uplifting people, showing kindness etc just becomes who you are. I think she did fantastic!

    I watched the speech as an analysis. Her ability to take pauses at the right time is great. Also, a lot of use of gestures helps so much. Great speaker along with awesome singer.

    I was glued to my phone throughout the speech. I love the spontaneity in her demeanour. That's my spec in speech making. Making it natural and being free with your audience makes it all beautiful. Written notes PR none,just flow with the audience.

    @@mandyharewood886 I've seen her interviews from the mid 2000s and compared to her recent interviews, I can tell that her Barbadian accent is no more. There might still be some traces of her original accent but she sounds almost 100% American now.
