a lot of effort was put in this work . changing the voice for each character made it more interesting and far from boring. thank you
This shortened, but true to the original, rendition of one my very favorite stories is wonderfully done, and the reader’s voice is superb. Thank you. 00:00:12 Chapter 1 00:15:05 Chapter 2 00:32:14 Chapter 3 00:44:05 Chapter 4 01:02:22 Chapter 5 01:20:55 Chapter 6 01:38:40 Chapter 7 01:56:30 Chapter 8 02:11:34 Chapter 9 02:27:31 Chapter 10 02:45:00 Chapter 11 02:55:42 Chapter 12
I’ve read the book many times, both in English and Romanian (my native language) and I’ve watched all the movies and the series. I’m loving Jane Austen’s novel for more than two decades. Still, this just entered directly in my personal top 3. Excellent work!

Great job
Well done!! This is one of my favorite readings...🌺
Just curious, why did they change the very very VERY famous first sentence: "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife"?

The language is adapted, so that oldfashioned words have been replaced.

@@Fanofcrete so why didn't they just change it to "Yo, he got cheese, must need a Beyotch."

I adored Mrs.Bennet
This is one incredible narration. Oh how much I disliked Mr. Darcy only to fall for him at the end of the book because I finally understood him. Certainly, Mrs Bennet is a humorous woman mother. I love her confidence in her daughters. This is the book that will never leave my library haha
In love 😍 with this beautiful novel
I want u to do this audio book on all the books
I was so sure Liz would marry Mr. Bingley. so sad yet happy for them two finally

Plzzzzzzzzz upload othello by william shakespeare... Plzzzzzz its a request

This is a heavily shortened and redacted version. For easy consumption, I suppose. The original text is more elaborate and has more angles. However, this will do for learners of English but may leave the finer points of the novel untouched.

Sick of this Bermuda Triangle love story. Timeless unsolved mystery eventually became uninterested.
Is this a summarize version?

Not happy about the language changes of iconic phrases!
The listener should be aware that this narrative has been messed around for no good reason. In.a text intended for learning, it is excusable to simplify some of the language but it was completely ridiculous to change feet and inches to meters and centimetres. What for? The change adds nothing to the understanding of the story while leading the unaware reader into the mistake of believing that anyone in England understood what a meter or a centimetre was at that time. Since metric measurements were not used in England until the late 20th century, use of them in this context is as silly and out of place as describing one of the girls using a zip to close her dress.
I can't believe that someone had the audacity to rewrite/modernize the writing of Jane Austen. Really? The magic and music of her language is gone in this adaptation.
this is sooo boring. what a terrible clickbait using the image from the film adaptation just to get views...
Very poor work.
Great job
