Before I could understand difference between past tenses, I had watched numerous video lessons. But Rebecca's explanation without any doubt is the best. Her manner of speaking and explaining lessons, removes all the barries in student's mind. Million thanks to Rebecca

I’ve taken English courses this year, I’m practicing at school and on the internet , you helped me a lot , before that I hadn’t understood nothing!
Hi Rebecca. I love your English classes. I learned and keep going learning a lot with you. The simplicity of how you teach several subjects is impressive and aggregates high value for me. Your classes about the 12 tenses and how to build and use them correctly are my preferred. You make difference in our crazy world (war, pandemic, ....) You help the world talk and dialog. One of the simple things the world has been forgotten to do, unfortunately. Keep going on your path.

*SOME NOTES* : Past Simple vs Past Perfect 1. PAST SIMPLE The separate actions with sequence, but without connecting 2. PAST PERFECT At least two actions that related to each other with general sequence. *_Before_* [ _subject + Past Simple_ ] , [ _subject + Past Perfect_ ] .

With past perfect we always have "before"? It is the sign to recognise or use past perfect?
First time to understand these tenses clearly. That’s why if there’s an ad I don’t skip it to show that I truly appreciate Teacher Rebecca.
Until I started watching your lessons I was in a fog about English grammar, watching your lessons regularly the fog started to lift! I’m only a beginner yet but finally I feel I’m on the right path Thanks to you.
Your explanation is beyond description. Thank for sparing your time.

Very respectful; professional people at engvid! A huge thank you to all of you
I'm just starting to teach English, and as a native speaker I never really had much explanation on the different verb tenses and things like that, so I love watching your videos to help me understand the topics before I teach my students!

Ma'am, the technic you are using is very effective. I am an Indian. If you go through the English newspapers in India you can find out a number of mistakes in tenses, especially in past perfect tense. Instead of simple past they use past perfect. As an eighty year old retired teacher of English I request all the teachers of English to look into the matter seriously. Thank you ma'am for your great effort to teach us English.
All my life I had been trying to understand tenses but they make me tense only, I dont know if I am using tenses right in my comment, Your are excellent teacher thanks alot

worth mentioning firsthand that "past simple/s" work/coming up orderly/disorderly forward, yet "past perfect/s" is in a retreating order. to eliminate confusion. Thank you, like a lot :)
