I started actively learning Chinese since march this year. I've been mostly watching Chinese Dramas for about a year and it helped get my ear used to the language. I really like an app called Immersion Chinese and use it to practice reading and speaking. It has 25 phrases in each lesson and introduces 5 new words a lesson. My current goal is to be able to watch Drama's without subtitles. However in the future I think it could come handy for possible business ventures. I'm writing my first novel highly inspired by the douyin vertical Drama format and want my book to be translated to Chinese. I also have heaps of idea's for merch so to be able to communicate to suppliers in there native tongue would be a great advantage.

Yes! Immersion is the best, most effective way to learn the language, so getting as much exposure to it as possible is wonderful! Also, I think your idea for writing a novel in that format and translating it is super super cool. I wanna read it!! 😆 Keep up all the hard work you're doing! 加油!
