Hey Jeff.. Clarification, Correct me if I'm wrong. I believe there is no gas only mode... There is EV mode. Electricity only.. Then there is HV Mode ..Gas and Electricity working together at different intervals.

Definitely - just bought one. But not a full EV yet. Infrastructure is not robust and there are other problems, like very cold weather as we've been seeing in the news this week.

Jeff, I am shopping for a Rav4 Prime and came across your video and it is excellent! I love how you do not just glide over each feature, but you really explain what the feature is and what it does. This makes your video far and above the rest that I have seen! Thank you, I feel like I don't even need to go to a dealer now, I could just buy the car online.

Jeff , what is the most economical mode to drive the 23’ Rav 4 prime in to get the most mileage ? EV/Hybrid mode for example . I’m capable of charging with a Level 2 charger everyday as well.

EV mode Eco. Use EV in city. Charge mode on highway before coming back to city with empty battery. User s-s6 modes to recharge on long hilll decent. Try to slowly apply brakes and estimate traffic. Also use momentum on hills so that you don't need to apply too much more throttle on up hill.

Hi Jeff, my dealer called had a cancellation on a magnetic gray metallic Prime with technology without black roof available early March. Should I take it or wait for one with the black roof I originally ordered? Can take up to another 2 years to get the black roof Prime though. I’m in Canada TIA

They dont have second key for my car, where do i chase toyota for it?

Because the Rav4 Prime in this video is an SE model which has a lot of different features/looks.

The Prius Prime has a better screen then the Rav4 Prime.. That's odd.!! Here I am thinking of switching to the Rav4 Prime

My sister said she wanted to buy a new RAV4 Prime, but since she is 70 years old now she thinks she will keep her Lexus RX 350. I hope she buys the RAV4 Prime.

80 years old, buying the Rav 4 prime. We have had 3 Prius to date but they are now too low for comfortable entry and exit.

@@junehope7754 Yep, husband is 73, and we have always owned 2 Priuses. Just traded in both, going to one car, and its the Rav4 Prime. My son pointed out that it will be easier for "Dad" to get in and out over the coming years.

Too bad he's always singing and acting the fool because his reviews aren't bad.
