I don’t think George was Jealous. She said herself that she’s embarrassed to tell her family as she goes from one person to the next to the next, imagine each time your best friend drops you as if you’re nothing but expect you to be there as soon as it goes wrong, again. He wants her to just be more careful and thoughtful. Not the right way to do it but as a friend who has been picked up and dropped and supportive to the 10th degree, it’s tiring never getting any support back.

When you get in a relationship and/or marriage, your partner becomes your priority. Spending less time with your friends is normal, dropping was just the wrong word to use. She needs therapy and to reevaluate her friends/connections.
