Lean On Me Movie Scene: Cafeteria Chaos Scene
Фильм және анимация
Warner Brothers 1989 Movie directed by John G. Avildsen. Morgan Freeman as Principal Joe Clark.
Principal Joe Clark: I want all of you to take a good look at this slovenly, sloppy boy - as an example of how NOT to dress. If you look like THIS in the morning, find some other clothes to wear. Self-respect permeates every aspect of your existence. If you don't have respect for yourself, you're not gonna get it from anyone else.
haha. Luv this scene!

When Joe Clark says, "Jump!", you say, "How high?" :)
If a teacher did this today, he'd be plastered all over social media, the news, called an abuser, lose his job, and be ruined as a person.
Joe Clark: Alright, let's hear it. Sams et al: (inaudible) Eastside... Joe Clark: Mr. Darnell, no one is allowed to move during the singing of the school song. Mr. Darnell: I was just picking up... Mr. Clark: REPORT TO MY OFFICE...IMMEDIATELY! Mr. Clark: Quiet! Quiet in here! (Sams laughs. Mr. Clark slaps him with his clipboard) Mr. Clark: All right, continue. Sams et al: (inaudible) Mr. Clark: You boys are on detention, three days each. You must learn the school song next time or you will be suspended. This goes for everyone! You will sing the school song upon demand or you will suffer dire consequences! Mr. Clark: Mr. Wright, take this riffraff to my office.
My favorite scene in this whole movie is when the deliquent kid comes into the cafeteria and tries to stab Mr. Clark and Mr. Clark kicks his butt and tells Mr. Wright to "Get this disgrace to his race outta here!!" LOVED this movie.

Eddyisrich403 This should be renamed Lunch Humiliation Scene since it's about Clark demanding the students learn the school song and care about going about their lives in a way they can be happy about or that shows they are neat, tidy, and organized. It was cool he checked in with other students to see how they were doing before targeting Thomas as it showed he had tender concern for them aside from just a militant demanding exterior hence the "Crazy Joe" nickname.
