I have definitely not studied the lean methodology but i think this way naturally. This is just my natural thinking process on steroids. Thanks for sharing all this wisdom Paul as i want to master this way of doing everything and pass it on to my daughter.

Paul, I love your videos, you are a great teacher. Could you do a video to explain the other lean stuff like Kanban, Kaizan, takt time & Value stream mapping? Keep up the great work. Putting FastCap on my bucket list. - Mark

Navisworker Thanks Mark!!! Here is a link to a show I did on Kanbans (kzread.info/dash/bejne/rGdsvNFwZq7Tf5M.html). Also, there are several others. Just search kanban in my channel. We aren't doing Value Stream Mapping any more. We have reduced lean to just a few things. Know the EIGHT WASTES (kzread.info/dash/bejne/q5-KqctulM_IYs4.html). Then you can see wastes everywhere. If you can see wastes in everything, you should be able to see the value activity without formally doing Value Stream Mapping. Keep in simple (and fun!). Paul

Hole saw trick: bend a couple of the teeth inwards so it cuts the plug slightly undersized. Two opposite teeth will work well and not impinge removal too much.

@10:00 I wonder why the plug that he supposedly just cut out of a wood textured board has white laminate on it... and it burns because the teeth are not sharpened for wood cross cutting and the teeth stagger is not sufficient for wood, I stagger them more even for metal and it allows a bit free-er cutting
