This is me and Erickson in our toxic relationship, so this song reminds me of him when he broke up with me and wanted to get back together with me.

I'm still vibing to this song despite not relating to the lyrics. Never had a boyfriend since birth but I am still seemingly in love with him. Jeez, can't believe we were still in 5th grade when I first met him, hated him for hitting me with a heavy paper ball to the eye (it was a game, can't blame him now but boy, did that hurt enough to make me hate him back then lol), later to slowly realize that I was developing feelings for him. He's very funny, humble, and he wasn't even close to good-looking when I first had a crush on him (no offense but it's his personality that made me like him). He got a massive glow up and was crushed by the campus crush during 10th grade, the same girl I used to ship and tease him to. Big oopsie for me but I supported them nonetheless. We were friends until I had the courage to confess to him in 11th grade, tho. Long-story-short, I got invited to his house for a sleepover and I confessed the day after when I was about to leave on a bus. I almost didn't confess to him, but I had to convince myself that this might be my last chance. I got (gently and respectfully) rejected on a private message because I ran up to the bus after I confessed. It was the last time I ever saw him. It's been 8, soon to be 9 years of loving him and I still occasionally get dreams with him and me talking about random things, working on a school project, and playing stupid games. He is my first long-term crush but I seriously need to stop.
