Leading Worship - Cultivating Your Primary Skill | Paul Baloche

Музыка

Cultivating your primary skill is one of the essential aspects to focus on in order to grow as a worship leader and team. What does the Bible say about that? Why practicing your instrument is a spiritual discipline. How do we stay motivated to improve?

In my current "normal" band I've skipped practice 2 times in 6 years, both related to serious illness . I don't deal with low commitment well. I know I carry a lot of weight for the band and would like get a little help, but at the end of the day when it's time to play, all that hard work pays off. I don't have a family and children, so no one suffers or gives me a hard time, but that would be the case otherwise.... Every member of a band should find a place where they contribute something the others can't, so everyone is helping building the ship. FWIW. In my martial arts training showing up injured to watch classes was encouraged, it keeps you in the loop and it boosts morale for the whole group.

shalom, i am writting from Benin.I participated to a conference with you some time ago by zoom. I am the leader of the church worship team. I found out that 3 of the most regular members (sons for me) are plotting behind my back. I was broken because it's like they are challenging my authority. I do not see how we can continue to work in these conditions and I would like to give up my place to someone else. I feel like I'm a drag. I hadn't even seen it coming. i all ready pray for that but i would like to know what you thing about this. sorry for my English i am francophone.
