Thanks for sharing of how the Gram Seva came about of which I did not know though had participated in this seva when group of us from America came to celebrate Guru Poornima few years ago. We covered few villages in a day and it was such a blessed day. We experienced same that you are sharing here.Thanks once again into the insight of this wonderful service.

We should be already a great human to be a good leader: full of love,compassion,inspiration,selflessnes... To reach that sublime outlook, we better start(or continue)to become better. To that matter I discovered that I can learn a lot from my annoyances. So if at first they look as rudnesses from others,they often tell about me... At first I have to take time to 'read' the annoyance:to understand what it tells. Than I should look at what level of my life I do just like that. So,annoyance contains what needs improvement in me... Annoyed by flies taking away my concentration? Maybe I do not let others interfere my plans... Or maybe I should work on my focus... Or both. Or different. Just wanted to share

About Swamis contacts with the students. Now you covering more stories. When i hear about how swami started Grama seva.,i can add ,that it is ne who write ketter to swami an bout extremeky sad cituaton in india wuth starving poor. It was my birthday 29 october and inspire i was waithibg His blessing i read news and said that ibcant be happy of his gifts when such heinous suisied happend .like in Leningrad in war. But indian had 3 croppes per year and greenery around to eat.. People offten effraid to tell others about their problems, becouse compassion lost. I dint know that swamis reaction was so big. About calf saved by monk. That is to say ,children nit only smike wgen saw animal in troubkes, in Swamus childhood they push

Swami himself in dirt ,when he was going long way to school by village road and actoss revulets. I heared that swami lost hearing in one ear in childhood becous children did sonething wrobg when he was cleaning ear by something like small stick.they pydh his hand.and inner ear had tiny hole. Can you find this story, becous i am not sure ,i just listegn from his cousen brother long back. Parents avd reacherz must teach compassion. So here not about leadership alone ,but about compation - karuna sagara Sai .!!!!
