Agreed! Killer beat! Wu-Tang affiliate, Trigga, used that same "whistle/flute" sound on "No Tomorrow". Produced by Russ-Press on Protect Ya Neck Records 1995.

I used to blast it when it came out and everyone slated it , I loved it then and love it now..timeless excuse the pun..☮️No one was listening to hip hop back then apart from the few..
Best era of hip hop hands down
So underrated it's a crime.
The only crew that ever reminded me of The Cold Crush but yet so unique. I love Leaders.
Busta snapped on his verse. Funniest part when he said “Ring my bell”….so much charisma, technical flow and energy
Who else is still bumping this in 2020

just the fact that you KNOW this song means that you are one of my favorite people.
Life is pain. My heart sank really low when these guys split. They complimented each other so well, much like Little Brother. Black man unite✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Busta's prophetic words: "Here comes Busta Rhymes. In time you will know." This is one of my favorite verses of all time.

This is a great album. TIME - The Inner Mind's Eye. Every joint is creative and melodic like this one. Takes me back to 40's, blunts and house parties. ;)
My favorite song off The Inner Minds Eye! True hip hop Classic album that gets no love....

Had a blazin sound system in high scool & college... u could me hear bumpin this joint from 2 blocks away... damn the good ole dayz when the music was BEASTLY!!!!
never knew there was video for this either. love this beat
gear was tight back in the day lol reminds me of all my stuff I used to wear back in the 90-93 miss those days
BANGER!!!!!! SO damn creative with the whole layout of the rhymes weaving in and out of each other. So intricate! I dont even know how they wrote this together! Pure flames!!! Couldn't hold back Busta's energy. Slept on album!!!!
busta kills it on this joint.
This song should be mentioned along side T.R.O.Y., Scenario, Chief Rocka, and all of the big 90s east coast hip hop boom bap tracks much more than it is now.

The TIME album is 🔥
busta is ill on this tune!
Haa I read some random article from some hip hop dude the other day -- prob has a PHD in hip hop or whatever ,, where he found this album and reviewed it, said this beat was wack,, and the flows were weird,,, Haaaa I laughed so hard,,, if this beat was any harder you would literally just pass out and have to visit the ER after listening to it with some kind of brain injury,, the whole album in general is hard as bricks,, I’m a 44 year old hip hop head, back in the day as a teen it was the tape deck recording from midnight to 5 am!!!! this era was so much different, brings tears to my eyes,,,, This album is PERFECT!!!!

They don’t make raw conscience hip hop like they did in the 90s, now it’s just materialistic mumble rap recorded over beats that were made in half an hour on a computer
Gotta love the whistle/flute

It came out in late 1993.
This was their second album. First album came out in 91. Their styles were consistent album to album. Not only that - Wu and LONS have very different styles, IMO.
Anyone else think this is different to the rest of the album? Sounds like they made it between A Future Without A Past and TIME or something. Love it though one of my favourites with Spontaneous and What's Next.

It’s not the drive. If C Brown absorb the energy that Busta was showing instead of being jealous at the time, they would’ve continue making music and would’ve created another classic album like their debut.

"Those were the ones who got mad at the sun, it's been like that since time begun."
Glad I was in my 20s in the 90s, was bumping this jam in my CAR 🚗
What a beautiful time that was!
Mad underrated too! His style is second to none. He's crazy original.
As I lose my mind, lost in the thoughts. Gettin' caught up in the glitter as a quitter. Suckas didn't clean behind the sh*tter, though you shouldn't litter, time to set a new trap for the critter.
This is how hip hop should be! Instead of garbage thats out these days!
