Instead of finding out that sia xuay was a joke that Leong is digging himself but nevertheless need to do what he has to do as an NMP, Indranee uses all might and energy to get Leong, ppl do misinterprete when time to time or misunderstood or even miscommunicate but because she has malu herself by not reading carefully again it becomes Leong's fault to put out misleading statements cos only ART is allow for ppl to have open interpretation, she likes to find every possible way to whip the opposition and silence them. She should look at her own party especially how the former Speaker behaves. I hope SDP, Dr Paul Tambyah will get elected. PAP should asked themselves why they cannot attract ppl like Dr Paul Tambyah.

There must have been emotionally-charged exchanges between the ruling party, the opposition parties and possibly the NCMP, thus the Speaker must have tolerated enough and had no choice, but to 'release' pent up frustration listening in to all the speeches and heated exchanges between parliamentarians!

It is unknown when the affair commenced or if anyone has had prior knowledge of it.

isn’t Indranee also guilty of “making speculative assertions that are based on an inadequate understanding of the facts too”, no? What Indranee was doing in parliament is looking like the People’s Action Party (PAP)’s latest Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in dealing with the growing scandals and public displeasure against the government - just keep complicating the “facts” until everyone gets confused, tired or lost, and hopefully will be forgotten when another more pressing issue come along.

I always have nothing to say whenever scandals have broke out in parliament and they start to respond and reply to it afterward. Because all these are part of the aftermath of doing political fixing toward each other in life inside the parliament house. Meaning what they are talking in it right now are all things related to their doings and they are trying to justify,defend and validate their actions in it. A parliament house should be use to discuss on the issues and interests of the citizens and country. That is what the citizens vote and elect to send these people in to do in the first place but whether it's opposition or pap they have all long lost their way and focus on this already. They have strayed so far by now in life. All they do non stop in parliament is to try and fix each other all day long. I tell you Singapore is going to be finished with these people continuing to do what they are doing nowadays.

How Indranee, when questioned by parliamentarians from the Workers’ Party (WP) and the Progress Singapore Party (PSP), ended up claiming that the “short answer” is - she herself does not know if the six executives had authorized the bribery payment or had knowledge of the payment. Thanks to the hard questioning from members from the opposition parties, Indranee unwittingly ended up opening several cans of worms and has in fact make the whole case more daunting for the CPIB, AGC and ultimately, even for PM Lee.

I thought Ms Indranee dissected it well. You cannot group all of them into 1 issue. She only address on hot mic issues. Good questions from opposition party. However opposition party kind of loose his ground after questioning, I think we should not go for tits for tat. Same for ruling party, no need to keep going for suing in court. We are all Singaporean and we all well educated to know the underlying intend. Keep the intend close to the ground and be objective and both parties will we votes from the ground. Smearing campaign does not earn votes 😂

My confidence in pap drop from 98% to 55% after all things happen recently .

I think speaker should be scrutinized for being neutral not to be bias. The police should investigate the suspicion of espionage.
