I remember the first time I saw Lea on stage in a musical in the Philippines. She played Annie in "Little Orphan Annie", and I remember wanting to sing like her since we were close in age. She's been such an inspiration for music lovers - particularly Broadway show tunes. :)

She truly is amazing isn't she? I was so happy that she played Kim. I was so inspired that I auditioned for Kim in the Japanese production. I dot through first cuts but ultimately didn't make it. :P Ah well.

The Les Mis 10th anniversary was filmed in October 1995 and the movie Sana Maulit Muli came out in August 1995. (Lea mentions having done the film and sings the song.) Lea has always looked so youthful - there are many years where it's practically impossible to tell how old she is or what year a performance comes from!
