I didn't say that good lyrics don't exist,I said they were very rare. Eminem has gone back to being Slim Shady Taylor swift has almost always been bitching about each boy friend she lost. and most of the other artists suggested by these people aren't as famous as Lil Wayne or 50 cent who promote sex in their lyrics all the time.

ima obey Toi tu n'as pas vu les vidéos où Lea explique chaque histoire derrière chaque chanson ! au lieu de sortir que la voix est retouchée, va donc écouter l'histoire de battlefield. Ce titre a été enregistré en une seule fois, en live et c'est la première version qui a été gardé. Donc pas de trucages, et apprends à parler français, t'as fait une faute tous les 2 mots et ça fait mal aux yeux

I think that most people don't take a minute to actually take into account how much effort it must have taken her just to continue creating this album and then publishing it when so many of these songs are things that she would've shown Cory and listened to his feedback on. I saw a comment below that said 'Lea is a warrior' and I think that's exactly the way to put it; she is fighting against the pure heartbreak she has to contend with. I know from someone close to me a nasty break up after a long term relationship can damage you terribly even for months afterwards, but to be preparing for marriage only for him to die in such a tragic way, and yet for her only months later to release her empowering song 'Cannonball' - it doesn't matter whether you like it or not; she deserves respect for the fact that despite everything she is putting forth songs about being positive and getting past this pain. If that doesn't warrant her admiration and respect then something is seriously wrong here. I'm not a massive Gleek, having only ever watched 2 or 3 episodes (and the Cory Monteith tribute episode, of course) but I have always liked Lea and this song is absolutely beautiful. Well done, Lea. Keep fighting. Those with half a heart will support you.

She was so stricken and upset after his death this album was dedacated to him. I agree it takes courage and you can hear her voice crack in some parts. Still cry 7 years after the fact as well...

This is such a raw, emotional song. Her voice is perfect and the lyrics are heartbreaking, yet inspiring at the same time. 10/10 I LOVE IT!

My favorite song off the whole album. I love how strong the lyrics are, how original she makes the song. I mean I know the song is hers, but she makes a song that we've heard once before somewhere and made it her very own. Her emotions are written and sang through each lyric. A masterpiece, this is Lea Michele at her best.

I think, in my opinion, for now she should release "Don't let go", "Louder" or "Cue the Rain" really upbeat "summer songs". and then in September-November, release Battlefield or an other sad song like "Thousand Needles" or "Burn with You".

This is just... WOW!

this literally describes almost every break up ever.

I am literally crying, I so miss Cory and Lea together, when I found out he died 7 days after my birthday (2 years ago) I cried and cried and cried! She is amazing and she deserves someone who will take care of her like Cory did! I still watch glee over and over, even though I already know what is going to happen lol! You are amazing Lea and you should be treated like you are!

I've no idea who she is, but this song is so beautiful. It does remind me of Christina Perri's "Jar of Hearts" in that it's a power ballad with similar chords, but then just opens up and is like, "WAO." Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to iTunes to get this song.

I was listening to this with one earphone, then when it ended I wanted to hear it again but with two earphones in! Dang, what a good song and strong voice.

Lea this is a beautiful song. Every time I hear this song, I burst into tears. I'm fighting with you, Lea. It is showing me that I needed to heal and walkway from that toxic relationship. Also empowering me to heal for those who trespass against us. My first boyfriend was mentally abusive and physically abusive to me. I held on hoping he would change, but he never did. So I walked away from him, by running for my life. I broke all communication with him. Suffered from depression, and anxiety. I went to therapy for years after that relationship. But, I still accomplish my dreams. Even though he told me I wouldn't be anything without him. I went to college, made new friends, got on the dance team, and Colorguard team. Speeding up to me becoming a nurse. I found this song and pushed through any depression I face. Lea good work on this song. Anyone facing abuse in a relationship please walk.
