My wife and I have travelled numerous times on the Seaton trams, since we were married in 1990. We always look forward to coming back and riding on them again. We highly recommend it. Thanks for putting this on here:)

Back in my days with Devon County Council's Traffic Dept in the 1970's I remember this Seaton Tramway being developed as a tourist attraction - exciting times which helped put Seaton on the map. Great to see it now as a major tourism enterprise! Very nice, gentle video.

I live just down the road from Seaton and never once been on the trams.

Dear Christine Crockford, Oh! do have a ride when you have some time. I recommend that you buy the day ticket, that way it is possible to go up and down a few times and enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately the wonderful terminus in the open that can be seem in the video no longer exists. The tramway starts from a very plain looking commercial type building on the same site. A bit of a shame but they have more room for the café and a little shop. But remember to pick a nice day as it is great up on top of the trams. Thanks for the comment. Very best wishes WooWooMad.

@@WooWooMad I know it's right next to Tescos lol I'm very lucky living in west Dorset very close to Devon boarder. My cottage has no houses front or back and just beautiful country veiws and at the rear out to sea. In summer lovley to go to sleep with sound of the waves.

+Zulnex Dear Zulnex, Thank you for the kind reply, but I now find that there is not enough hours in a day to produce DVDs as well, as I am already in trouble for not completing family video commitments. However, it will please me if over the next few months I can finally place on KZread the projects that I have already started as I know there are folk out there that are looking out for their particular project. There are some narrow gauge videos taken in Wales and a canal boat video that I really must get round to completing, but all that is after all this crazy work on my house has been completed ! ! Ah well, it's better to be busy than have nothing to do. Very Best Wishes for now, WooWooMad.

As a compiler of destination blinds for the UK, where could I obtain the lists for the Seaton cars?

Dear Southmead Lad, I have just had a look at the Wikipedia site on the Seaton Tramway and there is a good list of all the stock that is currently in the tram shed. I don't know if there is a members site that you can find someone to help you access the information but when I was last down there you couldn't find a nicer bunch of blokes to chat to. Maybe a little visit is on the cards, but do remember to buy a day ticket and go on the first tram out as like myself as you will end up riding all day.
