Le Mini Macaron Review: Café All Day + Gel Kit
I had been wanting to try Le Mini Macaron for quite some time now. With their new collection "Café all day" launching, I finally made my purchase. I did not buy the shade Oat Milk (described on their website as a muted milky beige) because it looks like it has yellow undertones and I did not think it would go well with my skin tone - so I only purchased the shades Espresso & Matcha Latte.

The coconut yogurt one is my go to for the “milky white” base that’s poppin right now!!!
I will get Cafe all day trio for Christmas ☃️ I also find the white kit so cute, but I don't use white so much, maybe for a french (because I am french, just kidding🤣)

thank you so much for subscribing 🥲🫶🏻 the kit includes the gel color matching the LED light! so you get one polish, & that's all you need 🤗 no need for a base or top coat! but i'd recommend adding another color that way you can do a fun design 😄

I see you mentioned the colours vary in how long they last. How did the white (milkshake) last in comparison to the darker ones? Thank you 🥰

so sorry for the late response! honestly, milkshake is one of my least favorites because it is streaky! it takes like 4 coats to get an opaque look! the darker ones need less coats, & when you do two thin coats, i feel that gets the best longevity 👍🏻 the red kit is awesome! 🙌🏻
Do you think you can use the semipermanent top coat over a regular nail laque?

good question! i've heard you can if you let the polish fully dry.. but i've never done it.. not sure if a gel top coat would adhere properly to a regular polish 😅

hiiiii :) sorry i just saw your comment! it does last more & what i noticed is that it helps prevent scuff marks! when you do just the color, it can get scratched or marked, so top coat helps keep it shiny & nice 👍🏻

you do so the gel can adhere properly!!! if you have a smooth surface, the gel will peel or lift easily! buff the surface & wipe with acetone or rubbing alcohol to remove oils & you're good to go! 👍🏻🤍

@@ourlifeinframe some comments on the website said the polish peeled off very quickly. im thinking maybe they didnt buff and rise off or wipe with alcohol. i almost was hesitent to get it seeing those comments 🥹

i've done a few sets already & the colors vary tbh! this set was less than the 2 weeks, however, other times i've gotten a full 2 weeks! in my experience, it helps if your nails are rounded vs squared 👍🏻 also prep is so important!
