The mime is a fascinating example of speciation. Once thought to be simple case of albinism among the clown species, mimes are now recognized as a unique and individual species of the genus Corydon. The first individual mimes were thought to originate in France during the early 1400's, this is where the first cases of albinism were reported, it should be noted at this time that flocks of clowns were emigrating here, the common theory is that they were in search of new food sources. However a the rise of Joan and arc prevented their migration back to their traditional spawning pools, mimes, like all clowns cannot stand the sight of a cross, and so were forced to remain, isolated from the larger population. However after Joan's death at the stake, no doubt to clown politics, they were able to travel back through Europe. However the decades of isolation and abundance of wine, a known breeding excelerant, caused a unique change in the clowns. All of them now carried the albino gene and although they can interbreed with other clown subspecies, these offspring are always sterile. Thank the almighty for small miracles. One unique trait of the mime is their lack of verbal communication, all mimes are mute, this is thought to be caused by their albino genes that also give them their unique coloration. However like all clowns they have an unquenchable thirst for human blood, especially those of small bright eyed children. Many clowns often stalk their pray from nests built in abandoned theme parks and sewers. Let it be noted that all mimes in this film were raised in captivity by humans and had their handlers nearby at all times. Please never approach a clown in the wild, as they are an unpredictable and territorial species. Nothing is more dangerous than a mother clown protecting her chicks. Clowns are not pets and dozens are put down each year do to attacks on their owners. But you can help, please spread the word, clowns belong in the wild. Don't give your money to clown handlers for birthday entertainment, rodeos, and circuses, as these poor creatures are often taken from their mothers as chicks, mistreated, and mishandled. Remember you can help return clowns to the wild.

I know mimes are considered a sort of one-shot joke of "everyone hates this thing," but if viewed as a highly stylized form of dance or acting it might give a different appreciation for the skill involved. Also, his comedic timing (and just...the innocence of something meant to bring joy with no downside) deserve more than just "ugh, mimes are creepy"

Truly a mime moment.
J'adore cette cinématographie

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 This literally changed my whole life thank you!!!!

By the way Robin Williams was a Mime Artist by profession before he started Stand up comedy and Acting in films and so was David Bovie and quite a few famous people we do not associate with the Silent Art form.

I love this picture
Mime is a excellent Art for physical theatre educational sector .

It never downed on me that Mime can be used as communication with a deaf puppy!
Why is he reminding me of Joaquin Phoenix Everytime I think of the Mime
Remember him as a kid. Ho hum!!
What and why am i watching this at 4am
