LED Operations Green RED
Normal - Power On - No Car is present On Off
Normal - Power On - Car is present on loop On On
Normal - Loop is Tuning Flashing Off
Loop failure or disconnection Off On
No Power Off Off
Sensitivity: See Chart. Always start with Low-Mid. For large vehicles start with Mid-High.
Holding Time: Left If car is present hold time forever, OR Right Reset loop after 5 mins. Ideal if loop is in high lightning area.
Relay 2 Function: Left for constant output if car is present, Right just a pulse when car is present
Delay before activation: Left no delay, Right 2-second delay
Frequency: Left Low. Right High. If lanes are close together then alternate frequency on each lane to avoid cross-talk.
Good Practices: Do not Power on or Reset loop with a car present on loop.
Use high quality loop wire.
Pull loop detector plug and replug to Reset Loop.
Use a lightning protected circuit if in a prone area

Normally Open Contact. For Normally Closed Contact, open unit and change S1 jumper to CLOSE

Greetings! I would like to know, (1) In a speed monitoring system, what system is used for calculating the speed of the detected car, by the inductive loop!? (2) How is the camera activated to capture the license plate of this car, if it is detected at a speed above the allowed speed, on that highway!?

Loops Can Read Speed Of Vehicles As Well as Detection, I Purchased The Red Box Traffic Signal Loop Detector, For my Gas Scooter ,There Work on the Traffic Loops in the Ground, My Version is 175 Khz Trips ,Turn Signals, Straight a Way Loops, Single Loops..

We have loop detector in our site, when the car is passing the red light doesn't turning on, pls can you tell me what can be the problem?

There could be multiple reasons. Is the light green when the loop is plugged in but a car isn't present? You may need to turn up the sensitivity to detect cars. Make sure when you adjust sensitivity you power down and power back up the unit to allow it to calibrate. Make sure there is not a car on the loop when you calibrate. You always want to calibrate when no cars are even near the loop.

I just check now the loop detector both lights Red and Green are ON and its not going turn OFF the light. Pls tell me what can be the prb ? Either the cable is damaged or its the loop detector fault?
