I'm an older student, single parent, passionate volunteer and habitual over-committer. LOOOVE that he started Part 1 with "Am I too busy?" Everything else was helpful, but I already employ all of them - have figured out a lot around efficiency and effectiveness in being an over-committer lol, EXCEPT for over committing! Recently, I have cut down on many of my obligations. In recent years, as a single parent, I had "no choice" - I've had obligations, have lots of energy, and use it well to do what I want for a full, balanced life. This was an EXCELLENT refresher, and I will reference and re-visit it to help remind me of the maximum hours I have, regardless of what miracles I work here and there. Miracles are the exception, not regular happenings. lol Thanks LBCC!

00:20 Learn how to set up a successful daily schedule and avoid procrastination 03:09 Balance is key to effective time management 08:41 It is helpful to set aside specific study time. 11:35 Studying during your best time of the day is crucial for effective learning. 16:42 Reviewing the class immediately after it ends helps to retain the information in long-term memory. 19:39 Reviewing notes after class improves understanding and test performance. 24:54 Stacking classes can be a convenient way to schedule, but it may not be the most effective for studying. 27:29 Setting up a schedule with breaks on campus leads to increased productivity and fewer distractions 33:22 Setting deadlines and being accountable can help in overcoming procrastination. 36:16 Avoid procrastination and develop a consistent study routine. 41:13 Motivate yourself with free rewards and prioritize tasks using the ABC method 43:56 Schedule your tasks like doctor's appointments

I'm mainly done with school, but watching vids like this is a fun diversion. Like I learned the hard way! 😁 Still had systems, but nothing this fancy, my being a total *eh, just do something on the agenda* - type, with the best work coming close to the deadline. Maybe some people function best under healthy stress.

That is a real good idea to make dead-line part schedule with the call of a friend. And by this idea you can keep friendship going on. My problems was that friends don't call me anymore because I give them always the impression that they were disturbing me. Really nice rich idea. Thank you very much.+

I'm not gonna lie but in my college, all of our classes are stacking. We don't get to choose our schedule but the university choose it for us and we can't change it or drop classes or anything. I have classes from 7 am-3.30 pm and it's full. We only have two breaks. First at 9.30-9.50, and second at 12.20-1 pm. It's crazy. I don't think it's ideal to set a stacking schedule like that
