Sorry for the loss of your aunt.. It's fortunate you have wonderful memories to cherish . I loved the New York central items.. My favorite uncle worked for them and other railroads after them for about 40 years and I love to travel on the train too

Happy belated birthday. Sorry to hear about the loss of your aunt. When my mum died my brother in law sent a card with the words may your memories comfort you and they really do. It's always stuck with me. I'd forgotten about using a fork on the side of the cucumber.

Blueberry Crisp is really good. I make it every year..you mix blueberries with sugar and cornstarch or flour and make a crumb topping of brown sugar and sugar, butter and flour and crumble on top of Blueberries and bake until done..its delicious 🫐🫐

My grandma did the exact same thing with her cucumbers , sometimes she would slice them thinly and put them in vinegar on the table in a pretty dish . We loved them as children . My cucumbers are not quite ready yet as it’s been very wet here in the uk . But I’ve had a great harvest of peas .xxx

Love the memory about your Aunt and the way she prepared cucumber. My husband said his Nana used to do the same thing. Loved the butter pats and the matching individual creamer.
