Inzaghi, Mancini, Simeone, Conceicao and Mihajlovic are alle coaches now. Mancini, Simeone and arguably Inzaghi (remains to be seen) are even world class coaches. I don't think that's just coincidence.

The 1999-2000 Serie A was the greatest and most enjoyable club season I remember having ever watched, and it's not just nostalgia talking here. Even mid-table teams were packed with superstars. Above all, I remember Inter Milan that had perhaps the strongest attack (on paper) I have ever seen assembled, with Ronaldo (the original), Baggio, Vieri, Zamorano and Recoba.

Lazio is such an underrated team. Towards the end of the 20th century, they could strike fear in the hearts of even the most accomplished teams.

Mihajlovic was majestic that season, scoring 12-13 goals. His long passes and set pieces were great weapons for a team that lacked an otherwise apex predator upfront (no offense to Salas)

Coming 3 following season was still remarkable, considering how far lazio have dropped

that really took heavy opportunity cost, Lazio got financial problem and never compete for top of the table since then. Inzaghi bring hope as coach, but again, Lazio lost the opportunity.

Love the video. I noticed a lot of your vids are more modern day. Any chance u could do more videos such as this set more in the 90's and early 2000's.

That part of the video was talking about the huge investment Cragnotti made into Lazio in general to back Eriksson. In 2000 he paid alot of money to bring Crespo & Lopez. I think the title of that part of the video is a bit confusing though. It says "Summer Spending Spree..." Will try to do better next time!
