Those lights look darn cool! They also seemed to put out a good amount of light also, I've got a T6 California I love it, i think it's awesome! But it's got old bulb lights which ain't great, thinking maybe headlight or Lazer light upgrade. Not sure if I can afford both, your great at explaining these things though! Keep up the good work 👍

Hi mate I have no idea, van haven supplied and fitted my lamps when I ordered my swamper from them ,I have some stickers in the glove box ,I possibly have the other items in the owners manual. But I do know that my lights came directly from harlow and not as Trump says China 😀

Very nice and the fit is great. Also have a look at the Transporter HQ V3 headlamps with LEDs, they made a huge difference for mine.

@@urbanarkoverland I was sceptical about paying the money for the headlamps but the originals are so poor (when not on high beam), I took the plunge and have to say they have genuinely made a huge difference and so far not had anyone flash me as if to say I’m dazzling them.

Great video. Very useful. Just fitting std's to my t5.1, so hoping the live feeds are similar for a t5.1. I have modified the position lamp wiring so now have yellow/white switchable and main beam I can switch off. I was hoping to find the feeds in the cab fgrom the main fuse box and have a couple switches above. It might be easier to run the feeds in from the light cluster I guess

Hmm ok. Light cluster is a very easy place to find them. Mine come on with vehicle control. You could always just go in and back out. Same amount of wiring really

Nice straight forward vid.... I have one tip tho..after cleaning the edges of the vertical sections you have left, squeeze a little dab of clear neutral cure silicon at the end of each one... it stops any potential rattling if any..BTW if per chance you have led lights you will need a can bus...also what are the rims and tyres sizes you have on the van?...they look brilliant!

Good video, i have bought them aswell for my T5.1! how far are your cables from the radiator? at mine they are touching straight after the hard connector....

Great video. How did you obtain the correct angle of the lamps prior to fitting them into the grille. Can they be removed from grille if the lamp angle needs to be adjusted. Thank you.

Great looking lights. Did you cut the switch and wire off the loom when wiring directly to your full beams? Also the other lights you mentioned, are they just DRL only, or DRL and full beams?

Hey. I removed the plug. Spliced into it. Then refitted. They do both versions. These are full beams. But they do a drl 👍🏻

@@amcenteggart it’s easier to rig to a specific light than it is to take a wire through the bulkhead and trace it to location.

@@urbanarkoverland sure yes will take that signal off the back of the headlight just like you did, was just thinking of leaving the switch in the circuit so I can switch lazers off for times when I just want normal main beam (I’m asking myself why at this point…… but you get the drift?)

600 nicker for 2 lights and some plastic? Now THAT is a rip off. Seeing as you have to do all the installation, Lazer probs produces those kits for around £100 tops for that lot! I certainly cant justify that amount on just LIGHTS when I have a whole camper build to fit out. VERY good video though👍

Didn’t have a switch mate. My switch wire is the main beam. Watch again. I even mention the number. When I flash main beams. The lasers come on

Hi. Just to let you know that pulling fuses will not satisfy the law on non-compliant lamps. I remember that the Construction and Use Regulations state that (for lights) "if fitted they must work". You pays your money you takes your chance.

No that’s not true. Have 5 lamps on the top of my sprinter. And that went through fine. Never wired up.

Number 7 mate. That’s the trigger wire. Then live and ground straight to battery.

@@avinyljunkie these are elites yes. But full beams only. So these work whenever full beam will. As that’s the trigger. Number 7 is full beam 👍🏻

Nooooo. Any decent light will be more than that. Big difference between these and an eBay special.

Massive improvement over poor VW lights but how often do you drive with high beam on?? Surely your better off improving the dipped beam so can be used every night rather than green lane blasting.

@@urbanarkoverland I considered the lazers but ended up spending a little more on T6.1 led lights from well known UK transporter specialist. Miles better than standard but not as epic as the lazers. Great video btw. And nice looking 4motion.

@@urbanarkoverland the installation instructions are different for non and A/C. They say you have to take the bumper off to get access to the A/C cover that should be removed. Yours looked great .

Great video love it that someone is making on SWAMPER T6 videos 😀 I also fitted Lazer Lamps to my T6 much better than the candle bulbs 😂 and plus I’ve wired the little led’s that built in the lamps to my side lights…..more show off when unlocking and driving. Also flashing your mates when sat behide them and they pull in thinking your a police man 🚓👮‍♂️😂 Also what’s your Instagram?

Does your van have air con ? - I read on Transporter HQ that if you have air con you need to remove the bumper on a T6.1 - seems a bit strange ?

I doubt it. The mounting kit is shaped around the round grill. Maybe contact laser lamps. Because if you had two fitment kits it would. You want two furthest lefts. And two furthest rights. And use them that way.

All that fancy boxing and documentation must have been given to you as it’s a sponsored video. I recently ordered £600 worth of lights from Lazer and the packaging looked like it was straight from China (cheap & Nasty) with no instructions or certificates. There not all they make out to be especially the stupid prices they charge.

Pointless lamps. Maybe useful for going to the end-of-garden bogs in the night.
