Works great for clear parts, especially for model canopies or windshield glass

It's not a glue; it's a plastic welding material. Big difference in what it can/can't do. You should never put it *inbetween* the broken parts, only *around* the break to strengthen the joint.

Great video... but i wished you had a used metal bonding. I am going to try it. I snapped the middle of my glasses and it worked it took me several layers of laser gluing . But, it worked. Great buy.

Just got to say that this glue is the best glue I've ever used! regularly use superglue which causes fogging everywhere, this glue doesn't and from now on any gluing of clear parts..... well this is the way for me!

I bought my lazer bond glue kit specifically for freezer drawer repairs (they cracked on puling). Drawer plastic is clear so I hope the UV light will cure very well if not seamlessly.

As a crafter, i want it cause its resin and I can make cool things with it. They are now selling it at DT apparently so I see so if I find it at mind I am definitely picking it up. Not for repairing but for crafting.

Vivian I LOOOOOVE Your channel! You are amazing! It works for me perfectly! I have repaired many things and it bonds perfectly! The trick is to use enough on both sides of the broken pieces and put the light constantly all the way around where the glue is. If you just place the glue in one side as you did it won't work. Plus the blue pen is awesome for detect pet urine and bacteria!

Some Dollar Tree stores have it. I do lots of crafting so I'm gonna give it a whirl. If its crappy...then I'm only out a $1

I would like to find it with mind. I think it will be great for jewlery making. Or even keychains. Cause its resin and it dries clear so thats a bonus.

Both myself and my husband have used Lazer Bond 5 Second Fix and even though some of the time it took more than 5 seconds to set it worked quite well.I broke both pairs of my glasses and couldn't afford new ones nor would my worthless insurance pay for a new pair&exam😭. Lazer Bond & a very handy man hubby and within an minute both pairs of broken glasses fixed!!! They even rebroke twice and Lazer Bond fixed them again. They're not as good as new glasses but much better than having no glasses definitely. I got my Lazer Bond at a drugstore so I didn't get the TV special but it still was about $10 for a tube. Here's a tip for those who say the product doesn't work great.....make sure you use enough & hold the laser light on for 15-30 seconds and cover the whole area fixed even if you have to move it to reach corners, crevices, etc

Good tip to know - UV light for 15-30seconds AND apply ON a crack not IN a crack (just like an arch welder would).

see I think the problem with this glue is that if the UV light doesn't hit all the glue it won't work properly. from what I've heard it works great for glass and other substances that allow the uv to pass through

It wouldn't! This glue dries rock solid and flip flops are flexible so the glued joint edge would fail, you'd need an impact adhesive which is flexible.

Can confirm that Humbrol acrylic model paint can't be painted over this glue!! The glue was ROCK HARD but when I painted over the glue, the glue went back to a soft liquid state.....FUCKING WANK.
