While it's not what I'm going after, the 90s were kind of the end of mainline interesting equipment with variety. We didn't know how good we had it.

Lookin' good Ray.🤗 The changes that you are making in Engine Service really make sense, and the diesel shops could also make a nice screen in front of the branch line. I love 2-10-2s, but that 0-8-0 is really nice - especially the way you play Rachmaninoff on the chimes!🚂Lawrence

Agreed on the view block. The shop buildings are big, so, you won't see behind them till you walk over. Inside that little loop of track climbing the grade is going to be a typical western pa farm.

Nice job Ray. Nice job. And those hand laid turnouts? Awesome. I tried hand laying turnouts one time and failed miserably. Even had all the Fast Track tools. So now I have been slowly changing out my Atlas Code 83 #6's for the new Walther's #6's. Really like them. Keep up the great work.

I see the new walthers has the solid points. I bet they're nice, long as the frogs are repeatably good. If I didn't need so many, I'd consider going this route. Thank you for the kind words!

Most everything I have is long out of production stuff from the 80s, so that car definitely stands apart on another level.

Another great update, Ray! I agree with you completely about the Fast Tracks turnouts. They perform better than anything on the market. Interesting about cutting your own ties. Weren't you 3-D printing them for awhile?

Thanks Mark! Yes, I was printing them. But I can laser them much faster, cheaper, and without the mess. The end result takes paint better. I'm printing smokebox doors these days. That staging yard under Casper made my back hurt just watching you, well done!!

It's a resin shell from someone..... I forget the name.... they make all kinds of resin stuff. My motor car came from them too. It's on a old proto sd7 chasis which isn't the right trucks, but good enough for me. It's powered, no sound, no lights because I knew it'd only ever be a mid unit.
